Where are your storage facilities located?
We operate two premier, family-owned facilities. Our Mooresville facility is at 2319 Statesville Hwy (serving Lake Norman and Troutman). Our Mocksville facility is at 1033 S Salisbury Road (serving downtown and Cooleemee).
Can I rent a unit over the phone or online?
Most needs can be handled online. You can rent a Mooresville unit online or browse open Mocksville self-storage spaces right now. You can also call us at 704-660-7827 or rent by appointment.
How far in advance can I reserve a unit?
We do not reserve units. Our spaces are available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I have to sign a long-term lease?
No. Our leases are on a convenient month-to-month basis and require a signature upon renting.
What notice do you require before I move out?
We require a 10-day notice online or by phone. Call the office the day you sweep out and remove your lock. We prorate going in but DO NOT prorate going out. Recurring payments run on the 1st of every month.
What are my gate access hours?
You have gate access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What are your office hours?
We answer phones 7 days a week. Physical office hours are posted on each location's page.
Do you require insurance?
No, but if you choose not to take insurance, you store at your own risk.
What documents do I need to rent?
A valid Driver's License is required to secure a storage unit.
Will I receive a paper bill?
No. You will only receive a monthly invoice by email or text. We do not mail out paper invoices.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
When is rent due and are there late fees?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. Payments after the 5th are late and you will be locked out of the gate. Payments after the 10th incur a late fee.
What items are prohibited in the units?
You can store almost anything except flammable objects, explosives, perishable items, pet food, or human food.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
Yes, cylinder locks are preferred. We also sell top-quality locks at a discount in our office.
Can I share unit access with friends or family?
You may share your keys and gate code with whomever you choose, but we take no responsibility for their access.
What if my unit or the property gets damaged?
You must report any accidental property damage immediately by calling our office at 704-660-7827.
What if I forget my gate code?
Your code is available anytime in your online customer portal. You can also call our office to retrieve it.
Are your self-storage locations gated?
YES, both of our facilities feature fully gated secure perimeters.
Is electricity provided inside the storage units?
No. We do not provide power to units, and performing mechanical or commercial work on-site is strictly prohibited
